6X Plays the Echo Lounge
Show ReviewLara, Kevin, Rob, and Tim put on an amazing show at the Echo Lounge Saturday Oct 9th. A huge crowd turned out to support a benefit for WRAS Album 88.5, the Georgia State Univ. radio station. Taking the stage at 10:15, the band blasted their trademark high-energy music into the small dark venue. The back drop of bright, colorful lighting and fog added to an already great show. I heard several people in the audience comment that they'd never heard of 6x before, but thought they were great. The show was so popular, there was barely room for people to dance the the Rock-and-Roll rhythm booming from the floor mounted amplifiers, But that didn't stop the crowd from swaying and bouncing as Lara sang her heart out. I'm happy that there was a good turnout - but I don't like it when it's so crowded you can't get to the bar. When I left, the line to get in still extended around the building. Playlist
